
We’re offering special loans for members who demonstrate an immediate need for cash due to a financial burden imposed by the February 2021 disaster.
Minimum Loan Amount: $500
Maximum Loan Amount: $2,500
Loan Term: max of 36 months
Rate: 10.9% APR for all credit tiers
First Payment Deferral: up to 90 days
Example: $2,500 at 10.9% APR for 36 months, and defer 90 days first payment deferral:

Terms and Conditions:
Loan not to exceed one month of gross salary, income verified with most recent pay check. If member currently unemployed loan maximum is $500. Member may not refinance existing BHCSCU signature loan balances (30) into a Pandemic Assistance Loan. Loan proceeds only disbursed in cash to member, made payable to third parties for repair expenses, or deposited to BHCSCU account for member withdrawal. Minimum membership of one year with BHCSCU required OR minimum six months continuous employment with Baylor, Scott and White required if less than one-year BHCSCU membership. Maximum one Pandemic or Disaster loan per household. Member cannot be in any stage of active bankruptcy process, had a bankruptcy discharged or dismissed in the past two years, or have an active “loan workout” in progress other than skips allowed under pandemic guidelines. Members who have caused the credit union a loss in the past, regardless of timeframe or reason, are not eligible. Member must be current on all credit union loans at the time of loan disbursement. Proceeds from an emergency loan cannot be used to pay a delinquent loan with the credit union. Loan application must be completed online.
